About the Symposium
The Quantum Materials Symposium 2017 (QMS 2017) will focus on transformative questions framed around the key challenges of the design, synthesis, properties, and applications of quantum materials. The program will be organized around three main issues that are fundamental problems of Quantum Materials Science:
1) New visions in quantum materials synthesis
2) Is rational design of quantum matter possible?
3) Novel quasiparticles.
The Symposium succeeds Symposium on Quantum Materials Synthesis: Grand Challenges and Opportunities held in New York City in September 2016. The participation of early-career researchers and PhD students is highly promoted.
