Since the 1st of May 2021 Niels Schröter is an Independent Max Planck Research Group Leader (W2) at the Max Planck Institute for Microstructure Physics in Halle, Germany. He very much enjoyed his international education and is looking forward to work with students and postdocs from different backgrounds.

2018-2021 Postdoctoral Work at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, with Gabriel Aeppli and Vladimir Strocov and in close collaboration with Peter Krogstrup (Microsoft Copenhagen) and Claudia Felser (MPI Dresden).
